International Society of Analytical Assessment of Treatment Technologies

IStAATT is a not-for-profit professional and education organization. It was established to provide an international forum to discuss all matters related to the collection, transport, and treatment of medical waste (also known as biohazardous, infectious, and healthcare waste).

Through such open and frank exchanges of information, the Society serves as a vehicle to enhance the efficacy and safety of all phases of the processing of this special waste stream and promotes the education and expertise of its members.

Membership is open to all involved in healthcare related facilities, public and private academic institutions, for profit and not-for-profit corporations, government agencies and any individual interested in the mission of the Society.
